Engage in Change (EIC) services and solutions are led by Founder and President, Dr. Erika Heilman, in collaboration with Lead Pracademic Partner, Dr. Enin Rudel, and a comprehensive and collaborative Engaged Partner-in-Practice Network. 


Through the engaged network and shared leadership in action, Drs. Heilman and Rudel co-steward the strategic direction, program development, and ethics of EiC’s offerings and the practice philosophy that guides all services and client engagements.

EiC Leadership

Dr. Erika Heilman

Dr. Erika Heilman is an organizational and leadership psychologist, educator, coach, and consultant specializing in the integration of neuroscience, organizational and leadership psychology, adult development, and systems thinking. As Founder and President of Engage in Change, she partners with leaders and teams across sectors—including healthcare, education, government, and corporate environments—to build adaptive capacity, navigate change, and improve the quality of leadership and organizational life.


In addition to her consulting work, Dr. Heilman is an Assistant Professor at William James College, where she teaches in the MAOP and Leadership PsyD programs and directs the Neuroscience of Leadership Psychology Concentration. Her expertise includes organization development, leadership development, psychometrics, emotional intelligence, and the use of self as an instrument. 


She is a certified practitioner of Kantor’s Structural Dynamics, a Registered Organization Development Consultant (RODC) by the International Society of Organization Development and Change (ISODC), a member of the Forbes Coaches Council, and a consultant with Business Talent Group. Her additional professional affiliations include APA, ATD, SIOP, S4SN, SPL, and the OD Network. and. Dr. Heilman is committed to developing reflective, inclusive, and impactful leadership grounded in evidence, identity, and systems thinking.

Erika L. Heilman, Psy.D., RODC

Founder & President

Dr. Enin Rudel

Dr. Enin Rudel is an organizational psychologist, executive coach, and educator with over 20 years of experience in inclusive leadership, emotional intelligence, and systemic change. As Lead Pracademic Partner at Engage in Change, he co-leads the strategic direction and design of transformational programs that integrate neuroscience, identity development, and organizational systems.


Dr. Rudel serves as Director of the Inclusive Leadership Psychology Concentration and faculty in the Organizational and Leadership Psychology Department at William James College. He brings clinical and organizational insight to his work as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Psy.D. in Leadership Psychology.


He is the Founder of EI Consulting LLC and serves in leadership roles with Craft HR Solutions and IBIS Consulting Group. Dr. Rudel is also an Executive Leadership Coach at the MIT Leadership Center. His award-winning publication on Black male leadership and emotional intelligence has informed DEI strategies worldwide. Dr. Rudel is a member of the APA, SIOP, and Boston Facilitators Roundtable, and his work is rooted in the belief that emotionally intelligent leadership transforms individuals, systems, and communities.

EiC works alongside a diverse network of interdisciplinary professionals through its Engaged Partners in Practice, all connected by shared values and ethical principles. By leveraging collective expertise, EiC ensures its services and referrals are intellectually robust and ethically grounded, consistently aligning with current best practices.


Through cross-field collaboration, EiC enhances its impact, cultivates a community of thoughtful and intentional problem-solvers, and delivers meaningful, sustainable solutions. Some partners actively co-facilitate or lead initiatives by co-designing or co-delivering services, while others provide peer consultation or accept referrals. Through open dialogue and strong partnerships, EiC's Engaged Partners in Practice network offers expert guidance, fosters innovative approaches, and better addresses client needs across industries, all while nurturing a culture of innovation and collaboration.
