The ISL training and certification program is a transformative professional development experience designed to equip both emerging and established leaders with the skills to lead from within and delivered through a blend of virtual live sessions, individual coaching, and eLearning modules designed to develop your sense and use of self as a leader. This comprehensive program helps participants overcome internal barriers, align intentions with impact, and leverage personal strengths for more effective leadership.


Instrumental Self-Leadership refers to the intentional use of the self as a tool for leadership and influence. Grounded in self-awareness, emotional agility, presence, and purpose-driven action, it involves adapting skillfully to dynamic contexts while integrating one’s evolving identity, values, and social-cultural awareness to lead with authenticity and impact.

The Communication Tendencies Assessment (CTA) Training+Certification Program: Master the Art of Communication in Action

The CTA Training equips practitioners with knowledge, experiences, tools, and skills to effectively administer and apply the Communication Tendencies Assessment (CTA)—a psychometric tool grounded in Kantor’s Structural Dynamics Theory. Developed by Dr. Erika Heilman and Bright Instruments, the CTA provides actionable insights into individuals’ patterns of expression, listening, and response in dialogue. 


Participants will gain a practical framework to decode communication behaviors, foster more effective leadership, and support transformative conversations across teams and organizational systems through the use of the training materials and support. 


Communication tendencies refer to the patterns, preferences, and habitual ways individuals express themselves and interact with others. These tendencies encompass how people convey information, listen, respond, and interpret messages. Several theoretical frameworks explore these behavioral patterns, which are shaped by factors such as personality, experiences, cultural background, and situational context.
