As an organizational and leadership psychologist, Dr. Heilman examines complex organizational and leadership challenges through the lens of Leadership Psychology and neuroscience to help leaders and their systems build adaptive capacity, align intent with impact, and improve effectiveness, performance and quality of work life.
Erika has experience working as a organizational and leadership development consultant and coach for individuals, teams, groups, and whole systems in industries and sectors such as health care, government, education, information technology, and consumer products.
In addition to her consulting practice, Erika works as an Assistant Professor as core faculty in the Organizational & Leadership Psychology Department at William James College where she is the Director of the Neuroscience of Leadership Psychology Concentration for Leadership Psychology doctoral students. She also is a Licensed Practitioner in Kantor’s Structural Dynamics and is a professional member or affiliate of the American Statistical Association (ASA), American Psychological Association (APA), Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP), Society for Social Neuroscience (S4SN), and a Registered Organization Development Consultant (RODC) with the International Society for Organization Development and Change (ISODC).
